Great Lakes Institute 2006

August 15–17, 2006

  • K-12 educators (formal and non-formal) are invited to a 3-day workshop that will change your perspective on Lake Michigan.

Other sessions will focus on various aspects of the Great Lakes, from shipwrecks to fish species in this immersive two/night, three/day hands on workshop. Participants will reside in the cozy Learning Center cabins complete with showers and air-conditioning. This teacher retreat will showcase a variety of activities and resources to use in your classroom and provide ample time for reflection and networking with colleagues.
