COSEE-Great Lakes “Educator House Calls” are designed as opportunities for small groups of teachers and scientists to interact, learn from one another and develop innovative approaches to enhancing educational outreach to promote science literacy.

Presentations by NOAA scientists (15 minutes each)

Presentations by Educators (15 minutes each)
11:45-3:00
Shipboard experience on the RV Laurentian
  • lunch while underway to sampling site
  • sampling demonstration, hands on, etc.
  • individual discussions while on return
3:00-5:00
Group Discussion - Enhancing GLERL Science in the Classroom

COSEE-Great Lakes will be making available stipends and limited travel allowances for teacher-participants in this program.
